Building Thriving Teams
– Developing collaborative expertise
PROGRAM
IDENTITY: In order to be effective in working with others, we must first be able to show up to work as our “best self”. This means being clear of our identity as a person and as a professional – knowing our values and purpose, leveraging strengths and managing shadow behaviours, as well as being open to think and work in new ways.
INTERACTION: The way we interact and communicate is key to effective workplaces. This requires better understanding of the motivations and working style of others, and being flexible in the way we engage. Every little interaction at work has the potential to add or take value from the organisation.
IMPACT: Effective organisations are made of teams of individuals who are clear and aligned in their purpose, direction, and committed to share outcomes. Effective individuals know their impact and are intentional in the way they identify, plan and implement change.
OUTCOMES:
- Establishing the right mindset;
- Relationship development through recognition of individual strengths and motivations;
- Exploration of locus of control; and
- Importance of trust and open dialogue.
